PHYSICAL THEATRE TRAINING
Artistic Directors Daniel Martin and Dave Mott are trained in a broad range of physical theatre techniques, including Viewpoints, Grotowski / Fowler, Suzuki, Pochenko Clown, and more. They spent five years as part of the CORE training group with Theatre Replacement and the Only Animal, and have been Physical Theatre instructors at the William Davis Centre for Actors Study (VanArts) since 2009.
We are able to tailor a workshop or long-term classroom curriculum to your needs.
PRODUCING INDEPENDENT THEATRE IN VANCOUVER
Whether you are looking to produce at the Fringe Festival, or set off on your own, Upintheair has done it all: site specific work, festival production, Fringe hits, See Seven, and more. Over the last ten years we have developed a reservoir of knowledge, experience, and documentation on self-producing work in Vancouver. We are available to talk to school groups, guide workshops, or provide mentoring.
