Getting his start as an actor with Vancouver Youth Theatre he toured the Governor General's Award winning play Will the Real Canadian through BC schools and eventually to Japan. A core member of the Chaos Collective in the 90's his creative efforts gave rise to the Metanoia Projects while completing his BFA at the University of Victoria. Founding Upintheair in 1999 with Daniel Martin led to the company's first developmental piece Pyropornomania for the Vancouver Fringe. Always focusing on developing, creating and challenging his own concepts of theatre making, David has now begun to widen his skills as a producer, playwright and director.
